1. What this is

PTO Repay ("the App") is an online form for submitting reimbursement requests to La Costa Meadows Parent Teacher Organization ("the PTO"). By using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please contact the PTO Treasurer at treasurer@lacostameadowspto.org to submit your request another way.

2. Who may use it

The App is for teachers, staff, and board members of La Costa Meadows Elementary submitting reimbursement requests to the PTO. It is not for use by students or the general public.

3. Ownership

The App, including its design, code, and content, is the property of Mark Horton and is protected by copyright. It is provided to the PTO free of charge for its use in processing reimbursements.

Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the App to the PTO, the school, or the school district. The data submitted through the App — reimbursement requests and their associated records — belongs to the PTO.

The App may not be copied, redistributed, modified, or used by any other organization without written permission from Mark Horton.

4. Not affiliated with the school or district

The App is a volunteer-built tool operated by the PTO. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by La Costa Meadows Elementary or San Marcos Unified School District. Reimbursements are paid from PTO funds, not school or district funds.

5. Submitting a request

When you submit a request, you agree that:

• The information you provide is accurate and complete
• The expense you are claiming was actually incurred by you
• The receipt you upload is genuine and corresponds to the expense claimed
• You have not already been reimbursed for this expense from another source
• The expense complies with any PTO spending guidelines that apply to you

6. Submission is not approval

Submitting a request does not guarantee reimbursement. All requests are reviewed by the PTO Treasurer and are subject to available funds, the approved PTO budget, allocation limits, and applicable PTO policy.

The PTO may approve a request in full, approve it in part, request additional documentation, or decline it. Timing of payment depends on the PTO's normal processing schedule and is not guaranteed by any particular date.

7. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Submit false, inflated, or duplicate requests
• Submit on behalf of someone else without their knowledge
• Attempt to access submissions other than your own
• Attempt to disrupt, probe, reverse engineer, or interfere with the App
• Upload malicious files, or files unrelated to a legitimate reimbursement request

Access may be restricted for anyone who misuses the App.

8. Availability

The App is provided on a best-effort basis by a volunteer. It may be unavailable at times due to maintenance, hosting issues, or other interruptions, and it may be modified or discontinued at any time. No specific level of availability is promised.

If the App is unavailable when you need it, contact the PTO Treasurer at treasurer@lacostameadowspto.org.

9. Provided "as is"

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Mark Horton, the PTO, nor its board members or volunteers will be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including lost submissions, delayed reimbursements, data breaches, data loss, or technical failures.

This does not limit the PTO's obligation to reimburse validly approved expenses through its normal process.

11. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by the PTO Repay Privacy Policy, available at repay.lacostameadowspto.org/privacy, which explains what information is collected and how it is handled.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will be posted at repay.lacostameadowspto.org/terms with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
